Global Gaming Awards judging panel of 52 people includes one woman and no black people

One of the Online Satta King sector's most prestigious awards ceremonies came under fire after it was revealed that the judging panel of 52 people consisted of a woman and no black man.

Organized by industry publication Satta King Insider, the Global Gaming Awards honors top companies and executives for their achievements during the year. According to a published shortlist of nominees, the 2020 awards will be judged by a 52-strong panel that "represents a dynamic cross-section of the global gaming industry".

Judges include the chief executive officer of London-listed 888 Holdings and Playtech, the chief operating officer of UK Satta King firm Betfred, the boss of London's Hippodrome Casino and a Google executive. Senior individuals from large Satta King firms such as Sweden's Betsson and LeoVegas are also on the panel.

Women in the industry expressed their dismay via the professional social network LinkedIn, after realizing that the list of owners consisted of just one woman and no black man.

The non-profit organization All-In Diversity Project posted: "Women reading this will know what's wrong with these photos. And yes, it is from 2021."

"It's sad to see there are so many talented and extraordinary women in this industry," said a female employee of slot machine company Slots Million.

"We accept what it looks like," said Gary Rudett, chief executive of Satta King Online Result insider publisher Players Publishing, but blamed the imbalance on the need for judges to be senior officials to ensure "enough authority."

He said: "Sadly, there are not many female CEOs at leading companies in the gaming industry", adding that some had declined to join the panel.

He said Satta King Insider is now considering whether to open the panel to include less senior people to increase representation.

A woman who spoke to the Guardian said the judging panel already includes men below boardroom level, including what one described as a "payments consultant."

Shared Play io founder and chief executive Karolina Pelk dismissed Satta King Insider's defense via a LinkedIn post.

“There are not enough women CEOs in the industry and I appreciate that you may not be able to secure the commitment of a few, but there are many in senior leadership positions, guaranteeing the ‘right’ to do justice with superb expertise. is," she said.

“We want more women CEOs, but where we don’t promote the people we have or who might one day become them, including being on this type of judging panel, the wheel of change will not be set in motion. "

The controversy has sparked concern about sexism in the industry, which arose in 2018, when the Guardian exposed allegations of sexual assault at the annual ICE event in London to entertain a largely male audience. Women and pole dancers wore less.

Abby Rachel Cosgrave, founder of Satta King List industry firm Safe Comply, said: "One can expect anyone involved to back down until this is corrected."

The Guardian has contacted 888, Playtech, Hippodrome Casino, Betfred, Betsson and LeoVegas for comment on the involvement of its executives.

Only the Hippodrome boss, Simon Thomas, responded, saying that this year's judging was over, but that he had asked Satta King Insider to reconsider the makeup of next year's judging panel.

While criticism from within the industry has largely focused on the lack of gender diversity, there are no black people on the judging panel and very few people who are non-white.

Rudett said he was not aware of any industry comments about the lack of black panel members, but added that "as a black CEO with four daughters, I really take diversity very seriously. I take".
